Traditionally, serums deliver potent active ingredients, while moisturisers have much thicker consistency to prevent water loss and keep skin supple. Our Super Serum is something of a hybrid. It has an impressive inci list of actives and a light texture that absorbs fast and while its main function is to super-charge your skin with protective antioxidants, it can also double as a light day moisturiser.
The multi-correctional formula is an antioxidant powerhouse, designed with actives such as Vitamin C (10%), Co-Q10+, Astaxanthin, Superoxide Dismutase and potent botanicals, including precious Cranberry, Amazon Pequi oil and Phosphatidycholine rich lecithin to nourish and shield skin from environmental pollution, while working hard to prevent collagen degradation and pigmentation.
If l-ascorbic acid based serums are too sensitising for you, this serum is a great alternative. It contains two types of vitamin c esters (5% Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate and 5% Ascorbyl Glucoside) to help you get all the benefits of vitamin c without the harsh side effects.
One of the reasons theseparticular C esters do not irritate as much as l-ascorbic acid is due to the fact that they don't require a pH lower than 5 to be able to do their job. Most L ascorbic acid serums require a pH of around 3 which is extremely acidic and irritating for most complexions.
Furthermore, our proprietary signature infusion of anti-inflammatory herbs - Dandelion, Liquorice, Ginkgo biloba, Marshmallow, Plantain and Calendula works in synergy with Hyaluronic acid, Ceramides and Phytosterols to address skin conditions such as dehydration, pore congestion and loss of vitality. Super Serum leaves your skin smooth, calm, hydrated, and perfectly prepared for sunscreen and makeup.
Directions: This light fluid can be used on its own or mixed with oils and layered with moisturisers. After your morning cleanse apply 2 pumps on dry skin and massage until fully absorbed.

Olive Squalane - Similar to the skin’s sebum, squalane is one of the best natural emollients. It penetrates skin faster than any other oil, making it a great carrier for other actives. Squalane is also an anti-bacterial and an antioxidant that prevents UV damage and formation of age spots.
Pequi Oil - Pequi is a wonderfully fragrant fruit that grows mainly in Brazilian Amazon forest. The oil is considered to have powerful anti-inflammatory and wound healing properties. Pequi is a source of valuable acids such as palmitic, stearic, oleic, linoleic, linolenic, lauric. Other ingredients include beta-carotene (+ 7.4%), lipids (+ 20%), natural vitamin C (+78 mg / 100g), vitamin A, vitamin B, zinc, calcium, potassium.
Sunflower Lecithin - Lecithin is an emollient, which is a softening and soothing agent. Its powerful moisturizing properties help to keep the skin hydrated, making it an excellent additive for restorative creams, or for products designed for dehydrated and overworked skin. It also has the unique ability to deeply penetrate the skin, and carry substances deep into the dermis. It is composed of phosphoric acid, choline, fatty acids, glycerol, glycolipids, triglycerides, and phospholipids.
Ginkgo Biloba - Extremely rich in quercetin, a natural flavonoid and antioxidant with anti-inflammatory properties, Ginkgo is a powerful free radical scavenger and anti-aging active. Very beneficial for oily skin and clogged pores as well as for people with sensitive skin.
Plantain - Plantain's natural antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties make it great for speeding recover of wounds, itching or discomfort associated with skin problems.
Liquorice root - Liquorice contains various naturally-occurring compounds, including glabridin and liquiritin. Glabridin have been found to be successful at lightening the colour of skin. Studies have shown that glabridin also prevents UV-B induced pigmentation and exerts anti-inflammatory effects on the skin. Liquiritin is particularly useful for treating melasma.
Dandelion Leaf - Dandelion is one of the richest sources of Vitamins A, C, and E. This group of vitamins together acts as powerful antioxidants. They help in arresting skin cell degeneration while also boosting collagen synthesis and general skin health.
Marshmallow Root - Extremely calming for sensitive skin, rosacea, dry skin, including psoriasis and eczema. Marshmallow root is plumping and can smooth out fine lines, even redness and heal abrasions, nicks and other small cuts present on the skin.
Calendula leaf - Very rich in vitamin C and E, calendula has been used for centuries to heal wounds, burns, eczema, bruises and skin ulcers. Calendula also has proven anti-fungal, antiseptic and astringent properties.
Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate (Vitamin C) -One of the most potent forms of vitamin C, due to its lipid solubility, which allows it to penetrate straight into the dermis without any irritation. Powerful antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, phyto-protectant, collagen synthesis promoter and wound healer are just few of the properties this super active has. Due to its effectiveness in low concentrations, it is gentle to sensitive skin and works really well for people who cannot tolerate L-ascorbic acid.
Ascorbyl Glucoside - A stable Vitamin C derivative that functions as an antioxidant and works well with other replenishing and antioxidant ingredients to preserve key substances skin needs to look smoother, brighter, and younger.
